Hi!
Sarah Egan is a queer, experienced muralist and digital illustrator whose work is dedicated to exploring human connection and nostalgia. By combining realistic figures with bold shapes, her mission is to create powerful art that resonates with all. After earning a BFA in Illustration from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and mentoring under some of the most successful muralists in the field (shoutout to Boston muralist Laura De Donado, Massachusetts muralist Melissa Pandina Win Costello, and the Influential Walls Mentorship Program based in California), she has had the pleasure of creating and assisting on murals for a variety of companies and towns. She’s worked on hand-painted murals, vinyl murals, and poly-tab murals (both as the lead artist and as an assistant for other muralists). She’s had the pleasure of receiving recognition from the Society of Illustrators, 3x3 Illustration Annual, and Communication Arts. She currently lives in Quincy and is preparing for her first solo gallery show.
